College Road Trip

We've just sent my big sister and one of my best friends off to college in the last couple days at Carroll College in Helena Montana. It's crazy how time flies! I thought I would share my adventures of Helena and Missoula.. I've been pleasantly surprised with some cool shops along the way!
My sister, me, and her roomie/best friend/my friend Katie at their orientation.

Representin' the school.

Came upon the Roots Music Festival/street fair in Missoula, so of course we had to get some food.

Cleverly named grocery store.....
@ the Street Fair
I've discovered a new interest in bikes! Definitely planning on riding a bike to school this next year, so I desperately needed a new commuter bike... (Hey, it's helping the economy right?).
We stopped at the REI in Missoula and to test ride a bike they tricked me out in all this awesome gear.... (Good thing I don't know anyone in Montana).
The bike in the picture is the one I put on hold at the store in Spokane! It's sleek, black and beautiful.. Blacks' a powerful color, guys. IT GOES WITH EVERYTHING.
With this newfound interest, I couldn't help but spy on all the bikes in Missoula.. Here's some of my favorites.
After a decent dinner at an Asian restaurant, ice cream was clearly the best option for dessert! (It always is).
The place, Big Dipper Ice Cream is delish. Glad they have one in Helena.

Hope you enjoyed this peek of my 3 day trip!
